The Basics

Terms of Service

What we offer, what we do not, and the terms on which you use this site and our services.

What we provide

Siraat provides mentoring, education, and peer support for Muslim women navigating polygamy. Our content — including free guides, courses, and one-to-one mentoring sessions — is offered in good faith, rooted in lived experience and Islamic values.

What we do not provide

We are not scholars, and we do not issue Islamic rulings or fatwa. We are not medical or mental health professionals, and we do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe for any condition. We are not lawyers, and we do not provide legal advice or representation.

For matters of Islamic law, please consult a qualified scholar or imam. For medical or psychological concerns, please consult a licensed professional. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency service.

Your decisions remain yours

Our role is to support you, not to direct you. Any decision you make about your marriage, your family, or your future is yours to make, ideally in consultation with those qualified to advise you and with istikhara before Allah.

Sessions and bookings

Session enquiries are requests, not confirmed bookings. We will be in touch to arrange a time. If you need to reschedule, please let us know as early as you can so the time can be offered to another sister.

Content and use

Our guides, courses, and written materials are for your own personal use. Please do not redistribute or resell them. You are always welcome to share our public pages with other sisters.

Confidentiality

We treat what you share with us as a trust. Sessions are not recorded and notes are not shared. The only exception would be where there is a serious risk to life or safety, in which case we would encourage you to seek emergency help.

These terms are a plain-language summary offered in good faith. They are not legal advice and may be updated as our services develop.
